3D printed biomimicry bicycle saddle

From the same perspective as her graduation project Biomimicry 3D printed soft seat (2014), she developed a bicycle saddle. Mother nature fabricates single material patterns that serve a wide scale of functions on many levels; from leafs to spider webs. To achieve this, she plays with form and structure. Lilian is exploring these and due to developments in the 3D printing industry able to mimic these on a meticulous level. Another example of how biomimicry can improve usability and design.
